About The Reno Fashion Show
MORE THAN A RUNWAY
The Reno Fashion Show began in 2012 with a vision to bring a large-scale fashion experience to Reno, Nevada, while creating a platform where creativity, individuality, and talent could be seen and celebrated. Created and produced by locals, what began as a community fashion show has grown into Nevada’s largest annual runway production, bringing hundreds of people together each year for an experience inspired by the energy and excitement of major fashion weeks.
At the heart of the Reno Fashion Show is opportunity. Our runway gives emerging designers the chance to debut their first collections, established designers the freedom to present new ideas, and models of all backgrounds and experience levels the opportunity to step onto the runway. Over the years, the show has welcomed local and regional talent alongside nationally recognized and guest designers, while remaining a place where someone can take their very first step into the fashion industry.
But the Reno Fashion Show has never been only about what happens on the runway. Each production brings together designers, models, hair and makeup artists, photographers, videographers, stylists, boutiques, content creators, production professionals, volunteers, local businesses, and supporters. Months of creativity, preparation, collaboration, and hard work come together for one unforgettable experience, creating connections and opportunities that continue long after the final walk.
Our mission is to inspire creativity, encourage self-expression, create opportunity, and bring people together through fashion. We celebrate diversity and believe there should be room in fashion for different ages, backgrounds, body types, identities, aesthetics, experience levels, and creative perspectives. Whether someone is presenting an established brand or sharing their work for the first time, the Reno Fashion Show is a place to be seen, challenge yourself, make connections, and bring a creative vision to life.
Today, the Reno Fashion Show continues to grow while staying rooted in the community that built it. It is a showcase for Northern Nevada’s creative talent, a destination for designers and artists from beyond our region, and an annual gathering where fashion, art, business, entertainment, and community come together under one roof.
More than a fashion show, it is a platform for possibility. A place to discover talent, build confidence, create connections, celebrate individuality, and prove that big ideas and extraordinary creativity can begin right here in Reno.
